What a great coincidence, my delight with baking, that I have started . Now today is National Cookie Day!! It is a great time to enjoy my cookies. They are such a "proper" sized delicious treat . I am a self confessed cookie monster . Are you a cookie person? Either eating, baking or both? I know some may think this a repeat of my recent post, but is a celebration of cookies my favorite.

In most English-speaking countries outside of North America, the most common word for cookie is โ€œbiscuit.โ€ In some regions, both terms, cookies, and biscuits are used.

Cookies are classified into different categories, with the most common ones being:

Bar cookies โ€“ Drop cookies โ€“ Filled cookies
Molded cookies โ€“ No bake cookies
Pressed cookies โ€“ Refrigerator cookies
Rolled cookies โ€“ Sandwich cookies

So lets take a few moments and just enjoy the sweet treat. What is your favorite type?
